Does anyone remember David Letterman's HBO special titled "Looking for Fun"? Anyone happen to know if it's floating anywhere on the net (aka "World Wide Web")? That special truly shaped my comedic sensibilities. I remember the late comedian (whom I was fortunate enough to interview), George Miller, on that show writing his name, in blood, on a bathroom mirror.
I remember the day my dad got a call from a survey company to check out a new late-night show on NBC. We all watched it and found out that it was our favorite comedian, David Letterman, in a brand new show. My brother and I watched it every day (we taped it so we could watch it after school). What a great show. Even Jay Leno (whom I also have worked with) was funny on it ("what's my beef?). I think I've seen every "Late Night" episode and even watched for about 5 more years on CBS. I used to dream of writing for the show... but nowadays I don't really watch the show anymore. It's so watered down and predictable.
I really hope Conan doesn't get the same way when he moves to the Tonight Show.

I would love to find a copy as well. Saw this years ago at the Museum of Broadcasting in New York City. It was one of the videos you could 'check out' and watch in one of their video cubicle things. I loved it, but too bad I haven't found it anywhere since, and too bad I didn't know how rare it was, or I would have found a way to get a copy :)
